Small renovations
Room refreshes and focused improvements — scoped to a readable, versioned quote, so a bigger project stays clear and controlled.
Typical scope
The work most small-renovation requests include. Your exact scope is confirmed in a written quote before anything starts.
Walking the space and agreeing a clear scope
Coordinating the finishing trades involved
Completing the agreed improvements to standard
Recorded change-orders if the scope shifts
What’s included — and what isn’t
Clear boundaries up front so the quote and the invoice match.
- A written, versioned quote before work starts
- Protecting the rest of the home during work
- Standard finishing materials in the agreed scope
- A completion walkthrough and sign-off
- Regulated trades (electrical, plumbing, gas) done in-house
- Structural or load-bearing changes
- Permit-required work without the right authorisation
- Hazardous-material handling
What to have ready
A little prep on your side keeps the timeline tight.
The vision
A few reference photos and what “done” looks like.
The space
Cleared and accessible for an assessment.
Budget range
A rough range so we can scope realistically.
Where regulated work begins
Cedar & Stone does finishing and improvement work. Anything that touches electrical, plumbing or gas — or that requires a compulsory-trade certification or a permit — is outside this service unless the member holds the right authorisation for it.
Where a job needs regulated work, we say so before quoting and coordinate the right licensed trade rather than doing it ourselves. Membership review confirms documents on a date; it is never a substitute for a required licence.
